Tethys Management Received AMFA Award

Mr. Ramil Muzaffarsky Maharramov was awarded the AMFA (Azerbaijan Micro-Finance Association) Special Award for his outstanding contributions to development of the microfinance industry in Azerbaijan. Mrs. Jale Hajiyeva, Executive Director of the AMFA thanked Mr. Ramil Muzaffarsky for his significant support to the strategy, fundraising and objective industry assessment initiatives of the AMFA since establishment of the association back in 2001.

The award was handed to Mr. Ramil Muzaffarsky at the Annual Award Dinner of the Association held on 20th April 2018. The Annual Dinner was attended by the representatives of the financial regulator, the Central Bank, financial services industry including banks, non-bank credit organizations, international development organizations and various businesses.

The microfinance industry in Azerbaijan accounts for more than USD 1 Billion in assets and more than 20 microfinance organizations.
